Important parent information:
➽ First practice for the 2011 season is on Monday, August 1st, 5:30pm-7:30pm! Practice for the month of August is Monday-Friday, 5:30pm-7:30pm
➽ Parent meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 4th @ 5:30pm
➽ Gear issue will be the morning of Saturday, August 6th. Location & time will be announced at the parent meeting.
➽ Monday, August 22nd is official league weigh-in. Please mark your calendars! Location will be SWAC home field – exact time TBD. (Football only)
➽ Please have your child dress appropriately for practice, keeping weather and physical activity in mind. WATER! Please send water to practice with your child, it is important to keep them hydrated.
➽ As a kind reminder…only persons with a background check AND holding a SWAC badge are allowed on the field during practice (turf & grass). Parents, we welcome you to observe from the stands.
➽ BIRTH CERTIFICATES! New players and cheerleaders – If you have not turned a copy of your child’s birth certificate into the Registrar, please do so as soon as possible. Any delays may result in your child on the sidelines for 1-3 games.
➽ Scholarship/financial aid paperwork is due by the end of practice on Monday, August 1st. Please take note that all scholarship/financial aid decisions will be made the evening of August 3rd. We will be notifying parents of the outcome at practice on Thursday, August 4th. Should a scholarship NOT be awarded to your player(s), full payment will be due by Saturday, August 6th before any gear will be issued.
If you are currently on a payment plan with SWAC for the 2011 season, full payment is due by Saturday, August 6th before any gear will be issued.

➽ Picture day for individual and team photos is set for September 8th @ 5:30pm
****SWAC is having a fundraiser rollerskating party! Come join in the rollerskating FUN on Saturday, August 20th, 5pm-7pm at the Southgate Roller Rink in White Center. $7.50 gets you in & gets you a pair of skates. We would love to have everyone in attendance…Coaches, players, board members, cheerleaders, friends, and family. EVERYONE IS INVITED! PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD! There will be games, races, and a contest for best & worst SWAC flair. So, come dressed to impress in your SWAC COUGAR RED, WHITE, & BLUE! The more outrageous, the better
